The attorneys at Fillmore Spencer have been practicing in the area of creditor rights and debtor relations for several years. They have practiced on the creditor side, representing nationally known companies in bankruptcy proceedings of suppliers and customers. Attorneys in the firm also have many years of experience in assisting small businesses and individuals burdened by excessive debt in negotiating with creditors (and litigating when necessary) to reduce debt with the goal of avoiding bankruptcy. When that goal is not realistic or achievable, attorneys in the firm also represent individual debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
