Mark D. Stubbs graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in University Studies, Political Science, Spanish and Sociology. He then graduated cum laude from J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1977, where he was an editor for the Legal Studies Program.  During law school Mr. Stubbs served as an intern with J. Clifford Wallace, Judge of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Diego, California.  Mr. Stubbs practiced for three years in Phoenix, Arizona with the law firm of Ryley, Carlock & Ralston. In 1980, Mr. Stubbs joined the May Law Firm in Twin Falls, Idaho, where he became the Managing Partner. His practice has included a wide range of business matters, as well as litigation in contract disputes, intellectual property issues, employment suits, general business, and administrative agency matters. Mr. Stubbs was elected to the Idaho State House of Representatives in 1990 and served until 1998. After leaving the State Legislature, Mr. Stubbs served as an executive officer of TEAM America Inc., a professional employer organization. He is a member of the Board of Litigation of the Mountain States Legal Foundation, and is a master of the bench in the A. Sherman Christensen American Inn of Court I. Mr. Stubbs now chairs our firm's litigation department.
