The intersection of business, technology, and law

Simeon focuses his practice on business and technology law, with particular attention to drafting, reviewing, negotiating or disputing contracts, forming new businesses (LLC, corporation, partnership, joint venture) – especially those with high growth vision, buying or selling companies (mergers & acquisitions), raising money (crowdfunding, bridge loans, angel or venture capital investment), negotiating and settling disputes between co-founders or business partners, private stock transactions (such as issuing or transferring stock), equity compensation (such as stock options or performance awards), protecting intellectual property, software and IP licensing, technology transactions, and Internet law.

Simeon holds a Master of Laws in Entrepreneurship from Duke University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Hawaii, and graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University—Hawaii with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. Prior to law school, Simeon was a “coder” immersed in software development, first with a NASDAQ-listed telecom company and later an e-infrastructure startup funded by Bain Capital.
