Peter Reichman, Associate
Pete obtained his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University with a major in neuroscience. He also completed the coursework for a master’s degree in public health and is currently finishing his thesis. Pete graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and was admitted to the Utah State Bar in October 2014. During law school, Pete was a member of the BYU moot court team and competed in various moot court competitions, including theChild Welfare & Adoption Law competition in Columbus, Ohio. He also worked for two years as a teaching assistant in the legal research and writing program.
Since joining Fillmore Spencer LLC, Pete has worked with partner Barney Madsen in his intellectual property and commercial litigation practice. In addition, Pete’s practice includes assisting healthcare facilities and practices with compliance issues and other legal matters.
In addition to his law practice, Pete has found a passion in serving. After finishing an LDS mission in the Philippines, he organized a non-profit foundation to improve the quality of life for the Filipino people. As such, Pete has traveled to the Philippines annually since 2004 to complete various humanitarian projects and to provide disaster relief. Most recently, he facilitated the construction of a high school on a remote island for which he was awarded the Young Alumni Distinguished Service Award in 2014 by Brigham Young University.
Pete enjoys spending time with his family and teaching his two sons to enjoy life.
