He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. In 2004, he graduated from the J. Rueben Clark law school, where he served one year as an associate editor for the Education & Law Journal. After law school, Aaron clerked for the Honorable Fred D. Howard of the Utah Fourth District Court where he learned valuable insight into the workings of the court. Aaron joined Fillmore Spencer in 2005 as an associate and became a partner at the firm in 2016. In 2011, Aaron received the Distinguished Service award from the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
